The peace of God that he offers has nothing to do with any circumstance or situation you will ever face in this life. It will cut through every situation and do whatever it must do to guard your heart and mind. When you look closely at this verse, you see that the peace of God is really an exchange. You bring all your anxieties, worries, and concerns to the Lord and leave them there by the way, this is important.
Many people bring their anxieties to God, pray about them, and then pick them up and take them back when they finish praying. You must bring them and leave them. If you do, and you walk away thanking God for the answer before it comes God will flood your soul with his peace. God is saying: i f you will trust me with your situation, I will supply you with my peace. When you do this, God will flood you with his peace.
God will give it to you. All you have to do is receive it. Lord, teach me how to follow your word and bring every care and anxiety to you. Help me to trust that you will answer and that you will handle the situation in a way that is best for me.
When I do this then fill me with your peace allowing me to know everything will be alright. I would encourage you to get into the habit of bringing every situation to God. When you do, you will begin to walk in this wonderful peace. Clarence L. Haynes Jr. He is the author of The Pursuit of Purpose which will help you understand how God leads you into his will.
When we understand this, victory is inevitable no matter how tough our present situation. I have a heart for setting people free from spiritual bondage and world oppression.
I felt that I was betrayed by someone I love. That person does not believe they did anything wrong. No amount of answers to the whys will give me peace. Only the peace of the atonement will. Thank you for confirmation. Skip to content. Question from Brian Maisch, the author. Are you walking in God's peace? Finding a way to serve someone else redirects my attentions off of myself and allows me to bless and care for someone who God has placed on my heart.
Lately, this has looked like texting words of encouragement, writing letters, making care packages, and praying for others. I have friends who grocery shop for our elderly or run errands for our immune suppressed members. We text and talk almost daily and find laughter in the silly and often stupid memes, a reworded cover song, talking gifs etc. In the middle of our funny anecdotes we also text and talk about our anxiety and our fears. And we do this often! Friends, relatives, and neighbors all need people.

Because the truth is that we will be. His very statement tells us so! This brings me comfort knowing that God expected us to struggle with anxiety and fear. And we have the opportunity to do something glorious with it in our lives- just as Paul has done! My prayer for you today is that you do feel that peace that surpasses all understanding.
