Top Voted Answer. Espeon doesn't learn a lot of moves, which is its biggest downfall. Shadow Ball is the best TM it can learn. You already missed Swift, although it's a weak attack so you might not have used it much anyway. You could try Hidden Power, though it's a total gamble whether it will be worth it it could be any type, and potentially as weak as 30 power. Why don't you teach Graas Knot to another pokemon? I'll ask for one more opinion, because I prefer to have multiple opinions for things like this. I need another bit of help. I have one move slot left for Togekiss. Fly because I need to get around Aura Sphere Wish??? I might replace Wish with Roost. What do you think? It is really up to you. It would make since to replace Wish with Roost. I like to use Roost the most though. Do you have any TMs that are special attacks.
Protect is necessary to keep Eevee safe from moves like Fake Out before it can boost. Those three moves are standard, and the fourth move is where Eevee can mix it up. Helping Hand has generally been more common for the situations where Eevee comes in again and can boost its teammate's already strong moves. Despite the lower PP, it can typically ignore your opponent using Imprison. Smeargle has been the most commonly seen teammate, as its vast support movepool such as Follow Me, Fake Out, Wide Guard, or Spore can help Eevee, especially if the opponent does not know your full moveset.
Clefairy is another commonly seen Follow Me user next to Eevee. Its Friend Guard ability reduces the damage to Eevee from spread moves, which Follow Me has no effect on.
After You is another cool move Clefairy has that can help your sweeper counter Trick Room. Stored Power and Power Trip, respectively, deal incredible damage to the entire format. Espeon's Magic Bounce and Krookodile's Intimidate both further increase the team's success rate. Tapu Lele becomes incredibly strong and bulky with the boosts, and its terrain prevents priority, which would have ignored your speed boosts.
Tapu Fini has great bulk and STAB moves, and its terrain prevents status moves that could otherwise cause you trouble. Tapu Bulu and Tapu Koko are not as common as the other two, but can both become very threatening, and Tapu Bulu can recover some HP with its terrain.
Both can have good ways or recovery, and Porygon2's Download and Celesteela's Beast Boost can make them even scarier. While some are likely better than others, it can be fun to pass boosts onto your favorite Pokemon and watch them dominate. Espeon has made multiple appearances in the anime. Most notably Virgil used one in the Unova League which helped get him to victory. Sakura and Espeon! Ecruteak City Again!! To the End of the Full Battle! Each One's Way!! Disorderly Melee!
